Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, I came out of the womb fascinated by life and full of questions. How are things made, how do people work, and how can we attack designs, experiences, and services in an orderly (yet beautiful and fun) way?
I created my previous job position at the local library: their first ever dedicated educational programming specialist. I really like talking to strangers, so I asked community members why they weren't attending and what would make them come. I challenged myself to produce unique in-person and virtual STEM experiences (like escape rooms, invention challenges, and radio dramas) on an extremely limited budget.
Ready to take on new challenges, after tons of research and informational interviews, I discovered and made the leap to UX design. It turns out, my brain had been doing it all along, anyway.
